San Antonio is a family company that was born out of a love for healthy food, homemade products, and the desire to provide our customers with products of controlled origin, free from additives, artificial colors, and flavor enhancers. Our mission is simple – to offer those who value quality and authenticity exactly what we ourselves want to consume.
As interest in olive oil has grown, so has our number of loyal customers, and we have noticed an increased demand for healthy food produced according to traditional recipes. Given that we had been preparing tomato sauce for our own needs for years, in 2012 we decided to expand production and offer our favorite sauce to the wider public. It immediately generated great interest, and the first batch sold out in less than three months!
After that, inspired by conversations with friends who often visited us, we decided to produce a sweet and sour salad from red bell peppers according to a recipe that Marijan inherited from his grandmother. Grandma had been preparing this salad for decades, and we decided to share this culinary gem with our customers. Today, we offer two varieties – mild and spicy, with the addition of chili peppers, which perfectly complement the richness of flavors.
To ensure that winter doesn't pass without our favorite preserves on the table, we decided to offer plum jam as well. We have been preparing this product at home for years, and what sets our jam apart from others is that you can find whole pieces of plums in it, rather than just remnants of pulp or thickened juice. Our jam is a true refreshment compared to many others that contain artificial colors and flavor enhancers.
Finally, for lovers of citrus flavors, our latest product is tangerine marmalade. This marmalade, rich in vitamin C and refreshing citrus notes, is the perfect choice for those who enjoy sweeter yet slightly tangy flavors. It is ideal for breakfast, but also for baking cakes or pastries. Tangerine marmalade is a real hit for all fans of fruit spreads, and its unique taste is sure to win over even the most discerning gourmets.
